I get it; there’s lots of wedding photo and video options out there. But let’s be real—it’s not about the fancy gear; it’s about the people behind it. So let me tell you a little bit about me. We’re the ones who’ll bring the creativity, the passion, and the laughter that make your wedding day unforgettable. And yes, I’ll still geek out about our gear with you if you’re into that!

I truly believe that if you and your partner have a strong connection, everything else will fall into place. And speaking of falling, I must admit, I have a bit of a weakness for pizza. But hey, who doesn’t?
When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me cooking savory wood oven pizza, indulging in copious amounts of coffee, exploring new territories, and hanging out with my wife and Australian Shepherd.

What is the best time for couple photos?

After your ceremony, we usually have 1-2 hours of time for portraits. But don't forget about the magical Golden Hour, which happens one hour before sunset, giving us the perfect light for stunning photos. Look up your date + 'golden hour' on Google to know the exact time and voila!

How do you ensure high-quality audio?

For the ceremony, we use two lavalier microphones and an external recorder to capture the audio (one on the groom, one on the officiant, and one connected to the microphone system). We may request to have additional small microphones worn throughout the day, including the bride and wedding party. Don't worry; you won't have any wires showing, it's discreet. We record the speeches by plugging directly into the DJ's soundboard or the venue's speakers.

Do you make backups?

Yes, we have backup cameras and simultaneously record to 2 memory cards in each camera. An immediate backup is made the night of the wedding, and an additional 2 backups the day after.

Do you have a travel fee?

We are based out of London, Ontario, and we travel up to an hour away without any additional costs. For any other locations, we travel for free if you decide to include any of our add-ons in your package.

How many videographers do I need?

A single videographer can effectively capture and document your day very well with proper timing, but why settle for good when you can have great? Having a second shooter means more angles, multiple locations, and more attention to detail. It means we won't miss all those hilarious conversations and reactions. A complete scene requires both sides of the conversation, and two videographers will capture just that.

Can we choose the music for our wedding video?

Music is the glue that ties the narrative and visuals together, and we are in the best position to try out different ideas with all the elements in front of us. Quite often something you think would be perfect just doesn't quite end up working out. Putting together films is like making a puzzle, and all the pieces need to fit. Since we're working professionally, licensing music is a must. Unfortunately, jamming out to the latest radio hits can be pricey - like thousands of dollars pricey - for just one song. That's why we use Musicbed, a web service with tunes that rival the radio's top tracks. We're willing to collaborate and hear your ideas. You can even browse the website and send us a list of tracks you like. We just ask that you allow us to make the final call.

Do we get the raw footage?

We rarely offer raw footage, and we're pretty sure that you aren't going to want it. Giving you the raw footage is like a baker giving you the ingredients for your cake but not baking it. Our cameras record in a specialized video format that requires post-production magic to make your video look amazing. We promise to include every moment that is important to you in the final video delivered. If you have a case of FOMO and insist on having raw footage, we're happy to create a special quote just for you. To create this edit, we'll still need remove any unnecessary or shaky clips, delete duplicates, add a simple color grade, and compile all individual clips into a single playable file. This will be completely raw and unedited, with no background music added.

Are you insured?

Yes, of course! We carry full insurance. If your venue needs a copy of our certificate, please don't hesitate to ask.
