For the ceremony we use two Lav mic’s and an external recorder to capture the audio (one on the Groom, one of the Officiant, and one connected to the microphone system). Don’t worry you won’t have any wires showing, it’s discreet. If you wish to not use a Lav mic we have other options as well. We record the speeches by plugging directly into the DJ’s soundboard or the venues speakers.
A single videographer can effectively capture and document your day very well with proper timing, but why settle for good when you can have great? Having a second shooter means more angles, multiple locations, and more attention to detail. It means
we won't miss all those hilarious conversations and reactions. A complete scene requires both sides of the conversation and two videographers will capture just that.
Music is the glue that ties the narrative and visuals together and we are in the best position to try out different ideas with all the elements in front of us. Quite often something you think would be perfect, just doesn’t quite end up working out. Putting together films is like making a puzzle, and all the pieces need to fit. Since we’re working professionally, licensing music is a must. Unfortunately, jamming out to the latest radio hits can be pricey - like thousands of dollars pricey - for just one song. That's why we use Musicbed, a web service with tunes that rival the radio's top tracks. We’re willing to collaborate and hear your ideas. You can even browse the website and send us a list of tracks you like. We just ask that you allow us to make the final call.
Yes, of course! We carry full insurance. If you’re venue needs a copy of our certificate, please don’t hesitate to ask.
We rarely offer raw footage and we’re pretty sure that you aren’t going to want it. Giving you the raw footage is like a baker giving you the ingredients for your cake but not baking it. Our cameras record in a specialized video format that requires post- production magic to make your video look amazing. We promise to include every moment that would be important to you in the final video delivered. If you have a case of FOMO and insist on having raw footage, we're happy to create a special quote just for you. To create this edit, we'll still need to review the footage, removing any unnecessary or shaky clips, getting rid of duplicates, and compiling it all into a single playable file. This will be completely raw and unedited, with no sound editing or background music added.
